Senior Account Manager at PPL First

Joe Hensley has a diverse work experience spanning over 25 years. Joe began their career in the US Navy as an Analyst from 1996 to 2000. Following their military service, Joe worked as a White Water Raft Guide and Climbing and Caving Guide at High Country Adventures for eight years. In 2007, they joined Cigna and held multiple roles, including Claim Processor, Implementation Associate, and Google Health Benefits Concierge/Account Manager. From 2012 to 2013, Joe worked at WellPoint as a Google Sr. Health Benefits Concierge. Joe then joined Melita Group in 2013 as a Benefits Account Manager. In this role, they managed various client accounts and took charge of benefits program implementations and open enrollment processes. After two years at Melita Group, Joe transitioned to Newtopia Inc. in 2015 as a Director of Implementation and Data Intake. There, they were responsible for creating and delivering custom installation projects based on client needs, coordinating data transmission setups, and collaborating with various teams to ensure client satisfaction. In 2019, Joe joined Kemper Benefits as an Account Manager, where they oversaw account management duties. Joe recently moved to Public Partnerships | PPL in 2022 as a Senior Account Manager. Joe's expertise includes project management, client relationship management, and proficiency in various software programs such as Salesforce and MS Office Suite.

Joe Hensley completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in International/Global Studies from the University of South Florida in 2006.
