Madeline P. has a diverse work experience in the field of Occupational Therapy. Madeline has worked as an Occupational Therapist at Positive Steps Therapy, LLC since 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Respite Care Worker at Public Partnerships | PPL from 2019 onwards, where they provided care for a teenager with Autism Spectrum Disorder and facilitated various daily activities. Madeline also gained experience as an Occupational Therapy Fieldwork Intern at ORTHOPEDIC & SPORTS PHYSICAL THERAPY ASSOCIATES, INC in 2022, where they evaluated and provided interventions to individuals with upper extremity diagnoses. Madeline further served as an Occupational Therapy Graduate Assistant at West Virginia University in 2022, assisting in the delivery of learning materials and rubrics. Additionally, Madeline completed a Level II Fieldwork Rotation as an Occupational Therapy Fieldwork Intern at WVU Medicine in 2021, focusing on neurodevelopmental disorders in children and utilizing standardized assessments. Prior to pursuing their career in Occupational Therapy, Madeline worked as a nanny and tutor, gaining experience in childcare and educational support.

Madeline P. began their education at Fairview High School from 2012 to 2016, where they did not pursue any specific degree or field of study. Madeline then attended West Virginia University from 2016 to 2020, earning a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Human Health and Performance. Continuing their education at West Virginia University, Madeline obtained a Master's degree in Occupational Therapy/Therapist from 2019 to 2022. Madeline also obtained additional certifications, including OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST REGISTERED OTR® from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) in July 2022, Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS) from the American Heart Association in May 2021, and First Aid from the American Heart Association in May 2021.
