Renato Bampa Soares, MBA has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over two decades. Renato recently served as the Chief Financial Officer at PQ Corporation, where they led and transformed the Finance organization to support the company's growth in various regions. Renato empowered a team of over 55 Finance professionals located across the globe and was responsible for M&A activities. Prior to that, they held the position of Vice President Finance at Cree Lighting, where they provided finance leadership and strategy to drive gross margins and process discipline.

Renato's earlier experience includes roles such as Chief Financial Officer at Gnutti Carlo USA, where they presented investment opportunities to the Board of Directors and oversaw financial planning & analysis, tax planning, and regulatory compliance. Renato also served as a Global Business Line CFO at Magneti Marelli, leading finance and accounting operations.

Throughout their career, Renato has demonstrated their expertise in financial operations management, strategic planning, and process improvement. Renato has successfully led post-merger turnarounds, established global organizational footprints, and achieved significant cost reductions. Renato holds an MBA degree and exhibits strong leadership skills, enabling him to effectively manage large teams and drive results.

Renato Bampa Soares, MBA, has a strong educational background in business administration and leadership. Renato obtained their Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Business from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de Campinas between 1995 and 2000. Renato then went on to pursue their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Macroeconomics at Universidade Estadual de Campinas from 2001 to 2002. Building on their expertise, they obtained another MBA degree in Finance and Controlling from USP - Universidade de São Paulo from 2003 to 2004. Finally, Renato completed their education with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business and Leadership from Fundação Dom Cabral between 2007 and 2008.
