Claudia Blanda

Claudia Blanda has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Claudia is currently a GVP Compliance Specialist & Auditor at PQE Group, a position they have held since November 2021. Prior to this, Claudia worked at Del Corno & Associati s.a.s. as a Pharmacovigilance and QA officer from April 2016 to November 2021.

In 2014, Claudia worked as a Visiting Researcher Student at Brunel University London, where they focused on an experimental dissertation project in the Division of Biosciences. Claudia'sdissertation title was "Regulation of RNA Polymerase II CTD phosphorylation by p21-activated kinases in Saccharomyces cerevisiae."

Before that, Claudia completed an internship at Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche - Istituto di Biomedicina e Immunologia molecolare (IBIM) in 2013. Here, they worked in a Neuroscience Laboratory, studying the pathogenic mechanisms of neuronal ceroid lipofuscinosis and developing strategies to understand the function of the CLN8 protein.

In addition, Claudia had a LLP/Erasmus Placement at Brunel University London in 2013, where they analyzed the regulation of gene expression in Saccharomyces cerevisiae.

Earlier in their career, Claudia completed internships at ISMETT in 2012, focusing on Virology, Microbiology, and Clinical Pathology Laboratories, and Azienda Ospedaliera Universitaria Policlinico Paolo Giaccone in 2011, where they worked in the Cellular Immunology Laboratory.

Claudia Blanda pursued their education in the field of life sciences and pharmaceutical regulatory affairs. Claudia obtained a Master di II livello in Discipline Regolatorie e Market Access in Ambito Farmaceutico Biotecnologico from Università degli Studi del Piemonte Orientale in 2016. Prior to that, they completed their Master's degree in Medical Biotechnology and Molecular Medicine from Università degli Studi di Palermo. In 2012, Claudia earned their Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology with a biomedical curriculum from the same university. Additionally, they obtained certifications such as the Internal Auditor for Quality Management System from Certiquality Srl in 2020, Integrated Skills in English (ISE) II - B2 from Trinity College London in 2016, and Qualification to the profession of Biologist, section A from Università degli studi di Palermo in 2015.
