Laura María Bedoya Montoya

Laura María Bedoya Montoya has a diverse work experience in quality management and assurance. Laura María is currently working as a Quality Manager at Upfield since April 2023. From April 2021 until their current role, they worked as a Compliance GMP Quality Auditor at PQE Group. Prior to that, they worked at Plena Global Holdings as a Quality Assurance Manager from April 2019 to April 2023, where they were responsible for designing and implementing the Quality Management System for agricultural and pharmaceutical production of medicinal cannabis. Laura María also led certification projects in Good Agricultural and Collection Practices (GACP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and oversaw risk analysis, deviation closure, and change control. Before that, they were the Coordinator of Validations at Laboratorios Siegfried S.A.S from May 2017 to March 2019. Laura María started their career as an Analyst of Validations and Quality Assurance at Ropsohn Laboratorios from May 2016 to May 2017. Additionally, they gained experience as an intern in Quality Assurance at Biochem Farmacéutica de Colombia from February 2014 to July 2014, where they conducted analysis of raw materials and finished products, updated technical data sheets, performed equipment calibration, and prepared qualification protocols and reports.

From 2004 to 2010, they attended Colegio Trinidad del Monte, where they obtained their Bachillerato Bilingüe.

Laura María then went on to Universidad de América, where they pursued a degree in Ingeniería Química from 2010 to 2015.

In 2015 and 2016, Laura María Bedoya Montoya enrolled in Universidad de América again, this time for a specialization in Gerencia de la Calidad.

In 2022, they attended Universidad de Medellín for a brief period to acquire a Diplomatura in Gerencia de proyectos.

Furthermore, Laura María Bedoya Montoya also obtained a certification in EFSET EXPRESS High Proficiency (CEFR C1/C2) from EF Education First, although the exact date of completion is not provided.
