Leigh Bates

Leigh Bates has extensive work experience in the finance and legal industry. Leigh started their career as a Senior Analyst at Eversheds LLP, where they managed insolvency cases and led a team. Leigh then moved on to become a Service Delivery Manager, responsible for managing client accounts and staff.

After their time at Eversheds, Leigh Bates joined Pamplona Capital Management as an Associate, where they played a key role in building a leading UK insolvent debt purchase business. Leigh worked in a small team and handled various tasks, including debt portfolio acquisition and onboarding.

Leigh Bates later joined PRA Group and held several positions, including Director - UK Acquisitions, Vice President of Americas Business Development, and finally, Senior Vice President of Business Development & Client Services. In these roles, they demonstrated their expertise in developing business strategies and managing client relationships.

During their career, Leigh Bates also pursued their MBA at Waseda University, further enhancing their skills and knowledge.

Leigh Bates completed a Masters in Business Administration at Waseda University Business School from 2009 to 2011. Prior to this, Leigh obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Politics and Social Policy from the University of Leeds.
