John Siambare

John Siambare is an experienced agricultural professional with a strong background in business and market development, project management, and agronomy. Currently serving as a Business and Market Development Officer at CIRAD since February 2023, John has been a Project Officer at Practical Action since January 2015, focusing on enhancing agricultural productivity and resilience among rural communities. Previous roles include Agronomist at ActionAid and DRR Field Officer at CARITAS Zimbabwe, where John implemented disaster risk reduction and food security projects. With a Master's degree in Development Studies from the National University of Science and Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Agribusiness from Solusi University, John possesses extensive expertise in sustainable agricultural practices, capacity building, and climate change management.
