Ethan Matthews

Ethan Matthews has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. Ethan is currently working as a Lead Software Engineer at Practichem since June 2020. Before that, they worked as a Freelance Software Engineer starting from August 2019. From July 2013 to June 2019, they worked at Trans World Health Services, Inc as a Software Engineering Consultant and later as a Lead Application Developer. At Trans World Health Services, Ethan developed applications for the healthcare sector including health information exchange (HIE), decision support systems, Tele-health, analytics, and healthcare system interfaces. Ethan also worked on non-healthcare projects related to charter flight booking and management software and personnel tracking and management software. Ethan was responsible for managing the backlog of development items, ensuring timely completion of projects, and communicating with users and clients for gathering requirements and managing expectations.

Prior to that, Ethan worked at Yardi as a Software Development Engineer II from July 2019 to June 2020. Ethan also has experience working at the University of Nevada Reno, where they served as a Psychology 101 Proctor from January 2011 to May 2011, administering exams, providing tutoring sessions, and occasionally teaching course material. Ethan also worked as a Laboratory Assistant from May 2010 to December 2010, performing tasks such as data collection, statistical analysis, and conducting literature reviews.

Ethan Matthews pursued their education at the University of Nevada, Reno, starting in 2008. Ethan completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Psychology in 2013. Subsequently, they continued their education at the same university and pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science and Engineering from 2012 to 2014, although this degree remains incomplete. Additionally, Ethan has obtained certifications in HIPAA Awareness for Business Associates from HIPAA Training in December 2016.
