Alex Cheong

Alex Cheong is an experienced professional with a background in client delivery, consulting, and project management. Alex has held various roles since 2004, beginning with a Data Analyst position at Brandimensions.com. In 2007, they took on the role of Junior Project Manager/Assistant to the CFO at Lawrence Asset Management Inc., where they managed strategic expenses and accounts for an overseas team of investors. In 2009, Alex moved to Stratyx Corporation as a Senior Project Manager/Business Analyst, where they designed CRM software for a BMW Lead Generation Campaign. From 2011 to 2018, Alex worked at Salentica Corp as a Senior Consultant and Senior Project Manager/Senior Business Analyst. In this role, they were responsible for managing a multi-discipline team through requirements gathering, project planning & execution, and database analysis & migration. In 2020, Alex founded Parallax Management Consulting, where they served as Chief Advisor. Most recently, in 2021, Alex joined BDO Canada as a Manager in Consulting - Technology. Currently, Alex is the Director of Client Delivery at Practifi.

Alex Cheong graduated from Bishop's University in 2010 with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance. Alex then obtained a Diploma in Culinary Management from George Brown College. In December 2015, they became a Microsoft Certified Professional through Microsoft.
