David Gorder

David Gorder has a diverse work history in finance and accounting. David started their career at The Bank of New York Mellon, where they worked as an AVP in the Structured Finance division. In this role, they managed trustee and collateral administration duties for CDOs backed by syndicated bank loans and asset-backed securities. David also maintained compliance reports, calculated investor distributions, and trained staff.

After that, David moved on to Declaration Management & Research, where they served as the AVP of Investment Operations. In this position, they oversaw middle and back office operations for fixed income accounts totaling $10 billion. David managed reporting, accounting, and performance for complex investment vehicles and instruments, and worked with derivative counterparties to manage collateral and exposure verification. David also played a key role in managing the collateralized debt obligation (CDO) business and integrating operations with the parent company.

Next, David joined Monsoon Capital LLC as the Director of Fund Accounting and Operations. David was responsible for managing all aspects of fund accounting for the company's real estate funds and managed futures strategies. David monitored fund performance, worked with external administrators, reconciled fund positions and cash balances, and tracked and invoiced revenue from multiple fund structures.

Most recently, David worked at Fannie Mae as an Account Executive in the Capital Markets division. In this role, they promoted the company's liquidity providing services, evaluated market developments, and looked for opportunities to enhance business practices. David played a critical role in ensuring liquidity for lenders and the mortgage market.
