Daniel Navar has a diverse work experience that spans from 2007 to 2023. Daniel started their career as a Paralegal at Donahue Gallagher Woods LLP, where they supported attorneys in various tasks related to intellectual property and business law. From 2009 to 2010, they taught all levels of Latin at Joliet Catholic Academy, overseeing recruitment, retention, and curriculum design. Daniel then moved to Crossroads School, where they taught Greek and Latin classes and experimented with personalizing curriculum to suit different learners. In 2011, they joined Irvine Unified School District as a Latin Teacher and also sponsored the largest Junior Classical League chapter in California. Daniel later taught Latin at Woodbridge High School and coached Certamen teams. In 2012, they joined Fulton County Schools as a Latin Teacher at Westlake High School, implementing student-led and embedded reading strategies in their curriculum. From 2014 to 2017, they taught Latin at St. Joseph's Catholic School, utilizing Comprehensible Input, immersion, reading, and grammar teaching methods. Since 2017, Daniel has been working at WePackItAll as an Enterprise Resources Planning Developer, where they are responsible for software administration, development, process development, training, and data analysis, primarily focusing on ERP work. In 2023, they transitioned to Praeses as a Software Engineer.

Daniel Navar has a strong education background in classical languages and classics. Daniel obtained their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Classical Languages from the University of California, Berkeley, where they studied from 2003 to 2007. During their undergraduate studies, they also had a year-long experience at The University of Manchester, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Classics and Classical Languages, Literatures, and Linguistics from 2005 to 2006.
