Matthew Jackoski

Matthew Jackoski has a diverse work experience in the field of information security. Matthew is currently working at Praetorian as a Lead Security Engineer since October 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Praetorian as a Senior Security Engineer from October 2021 to October 2022.

Before joining Praetorian, Matthew worked at Intel Corporation. From September 2019 to September 2021, they served as a Security Engineer - Red Team, responsible for assessing the efficacy of security technologies and automating controls validation tests. From July 2018 to October 2019, they held the position of Information Security Engineer, where they focused on assessing vulnerability data, automating scripts, and creating reporting services.

Matthew's earlier experience includes working as an Information Security Specialist Graduate Intern at Intel Corporation from May 2017 to July 2018, where they contributed to vulnerability remediation efforts and created reporting services. Matthew also worked as an Information Security Analyst Graduate Intern at Sony Pictures Entertainment from January 2017 to May 2017, gaining knowledge in various areas of information security such as governance, vulnerability management, and secure infrastructure/architecture.

Matthew Jackoski holds a Master's of Science (MS) degree in Cyber Security Engineering from the University of Southern California, which they obtained from 2016 to 2018. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Rhodes College, where they studied from 2012 to 2016. In terms of additional certifications, Matthew obtained the Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP) certification from Offensive Security in November 2019, Offensive Security Web Expert certification from Offensive Security in January 2021, and the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from (ISC)² in April 2022. Matthew also received the AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in April 2022.
