Matt Salas

Matthew Salas is an experienced medical professional with a diverse background in healthcare and education. Currently serving as a Medical Assistant at Prairie Health and Wellness since September 2019, Matthew has developed skills in patient care, including taking vitals, preparing procedure trays, and managing medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Previous roles include Laboratory Technician/Phlebotomist, where Matthew focused on maintaining sanitary lab environments and performing various laboratory procedures, and a Medical Records Manager responsible for accuracy and efficiency in managing medical documentation. Recently, Matthew contributed as a Lab Assistant at Wichita State University, assisting with research on human performance and neurocognitive functions.
