Dave Thompson

Dave Thompson has a diverse work experience spanning several decades. Dave worked as the Past President for NBNA starting from 1987. Prior to that, they were the News Director for Prairie Public Broadcasting and managed a three-person news staff. Dave also served as an anchor for the local news during Morning Edition and covered state government. Dave had a similar role at KBOM Radio as the News Director from 1978 to 1979. Dave started their career at KNOX Radio in 1980 as a News Reporter/Anchor and later added the role of City Beat Reporter. Throughout their career, Dave gained valuable experience and learned from their colleagues and superiors.

Dave Thompson began their education at the University of Mary in 1975. However, no degree or field of study was specified for this period. Dave then transferred to the University of North Dakota where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Speech-Radio/Television. Dave successfully completed this degree between 1976 and 1978.
