Sogand Ghassemi

Sogand Ghassemi MD, FAPA, currently serves as the Immediate Past Chief of Medical Staff and a voting member of the Medical Executive Committee at PrairieCare Medical Group since June 2021. Additionally, Sogand Ghassemi has held the position of Director of Perinatal Psychiatry Program Services and practices as a Child, Adolescent, and Adult Psychiatrist at PrairieCare since 2017. Recently, Sogand Ghassemi has been a Perinatal Mental Health Consultant for the Psychiatric Assistance Line, providing real-time consultations to primary care physicians in Minnesota. Educational qualifications include a Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship at Mayo Clinic Alix School of Medicine, a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Illinois College of Medicine, and a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from the University of Chicago.
