Business Leader (avp) - Sustainable Aviation Fuels (saf) at Praj Industries

Amol Nisal has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Amol started their career in 1998 as a Manufacturing Engineer at Tata Motors, where they contributed to the manufacturing process. In 2003, they joined Delta-T Corporation as a Mechanical Engineer, utilizing their engineering skills. Moving forward, in 2004, Nisal joined Praj Industries as a Project Manager, where they successfully managed projects until 2010. Amol then progressed within the organization, assuming the role of General Manager from 2011 to 2015. During this time, they demonstrated leadership and contributed to the overall growth of the company. In 2015, Nisal was promoted to Senior General Manager - Business Development at Praj Industries, where they played a vital role in developing and expanding the business. Currently, Nisal serves as the Business Leader (AVP) - Sustainable Aviation Fuels (SAF). In this role, they are responsible for market development, business strategy, and technology development for Sustainable Aviation Fuel projects.

Amol Nisal's education history consists of several notable achievements. Amol obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on General Management, Corporate Strategy, Finance, and Marketing from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad in 2011. In the same year, they also participated in the International Immersion Program at Fudan University, where they studied business environment and industry visits.

Prior to their MBA, Amol pursued a Master of Science (M.S) degree in Mechanical Engineering at The University of Toledo from 2000 to 2002. Amol had previously completed their Bachelor of Engineering (B.E) degree in Mechanical Engineering at Savitribai Phule Pune University from 1994 to 1998. Before that, they attended Government Polytechnic, Pune, earning a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (D.M.E) from 1992 to 1995.

In addition to their formal education, Amol Nisal has acquired several certifications. Amol obtained a certification in "Circular Economy: An Interdisciplinary Approach" from Wageningen University & Research in July 2020. In 2009, they became a Certified Project Management Associate from the International Project Management Association, The Netherlands. Furthermore, they hold a certification as a Certified Internal Quality Auditor (ISO 9000:2008) from TUV-NORD, although details regarding the month and year of obtaining this certification are not provided.
