Vipin Mahajan

Vipin Mahajan's work experience includes:

- Currently working as a Process Engineering Manager at Praj Industries since August 2021. In this role, they are responsible for handling proposal to detail engineering activities for CO2 recovery projects in the beverage and food industry. Vipin also oversees the design and sizing of key equipment such as CO2 scrubbers, compressors, deodorizers, dryers, and refrigeration systems. Additionally, they identify process improvement opportunities and implements projects to enhance product, energy, and utility efficiency, as well as quality and environmental performance.

- Previously worked at DIAGEO India as a Manufacturing Manager - Process Plant from October 2019 to July 2021. In this role, they were independently responsible for managing the malt spirit process operations, manufacturing, and spirit maturation. Vipin achieved key performance indicators for the malt process plant and implemented profit improvement projects by installing new equipment and systems.

- Worked at Praj Industries as an Associate Process Manager from February 2011 to October 2019. Vipin was involved in process engineering for ethanol and alcohol projects, including proposals and cost estimations. Vipin also conducted basic engineering, process simulation, equipment sizing, PFD, equipment technical data sheet, line sizing, P&ID, and 3D model review using various engineering software.

- Worked as a Chemical Engineer at Amines and Plasticizers Limited from September 2008 to February 2011. Vipin was responsible for process monitoring, control, troubleshooting, optimization, and various operations related to MDEA manufacturing. This included plug flow reactor, stripping, absorption, drying/concentration, and vacuum distillation of MMEA, MDEA, and other ethanolamine derivatives.

- Worked at RPG Life Sciences Ltd. as a Jr. Executive - Chemical Manufacturing from October 2007 to September 2008. In this role, they had responsibilities for control and operation of active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) processes. Vipin gained experience with process equipment such as batch GL and SS reactors, centrifuges, dryers, and milling machines.

- Started their career at Midas Care Pharmaceuticals Pvt. Ltd. as a Jr. Officer - Production from September 2006 to October 2007. Vipin was involved in manufacturing operations of aerosol and meter dose inhalers, particularly with HFA/CFC-based propellants and Terco liquid filling and crimping machines.

Vipin Mahajan attended the University Department of Chemical Technology in Aurangabad from 2001 to 2005. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Technology, with a focus on Pharmaceutical & Fine Chemicals.
