Fergus Wong

Fergus Wong is a seasoned professional with a strong background in research, development, and engineering within the biomedical and technology sectors. Currently serving as the R&D Grant Manager at Starling since December 2022, Fergus previously held the position of Lead Pioneer at Colossus, where significant contributions were made to decentralized financial infrastructure and podcast production. A PhD graduate in Bioengineering from Rice University, Fergus has experience in multidisciplinary roles, including R&D Design Engineer at Johnson & Johnson, where a catheter-based spinal fusion implant was developed. Previous positions also include Scientific Developer at Emerald Cloud Lab, and roles at various research institutions, notable for contributions to gene delivery methods and innovations in biomedical devices, along with multiple peer-reviewed publications.
