The team that founded Prapela had a lot of experience in the biomedical engineering field. They had worked at companies such as the Wyss Institute for Biologically Inspired Engineering, Nova Biomedical, and Afferent Corporation. They also had a lot of experience in startups, having served as advisors for startups such as Wavelet Health and Molecular Testing Labs.
