Eliana Abu-Hamdi serves as the Vice Provost for Research and Strategic Partnerships at Pratt Institute since June 2024. Previously, Eliana has held the position of Project Manager for the Global Architectural History Teaching Collaborative at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology since February 2017, overseeing a $1 million grant and managing numerous grants, budgeting, and collaborations. Additional experience includes serving as Associate Dean for Research at Syracuse University from August 2022 to June 2024 and Board Member for the Society of Architectural Historians from April 2020 to June 2024, along with various academic roles including Adjunct Assistant Professor at Hunter College and Visiting Associate Professor at Pratt Institute. Eliana's educational background includes a PhD in Architecture and City Planning from UC Berkeley, where multiple teaching responsibilities were also undertaken during graduate studies.
