Jolene Travis

Jolene Travis has extensive experience in communications and public relations, currently serving as the Associate Vice President for Communications and Executive Director of Public Relations and Editorial Communications at Pratt Institute since January 2013. In this role, Jolene oversees a team focused on enhancing the Institute's visibility and aligning communications with the strategic priorities set by the President. Previously, Jolene held several key positions at The Cooper Union, including Assistant Director of Public Affairs, where communications strategies were developed to increase institutional awareness and promote a new academic building. Earlier career highlights include account management roles at PR and marketing agencies, as well as experience with prominent European fashion houses. Jolene holds a Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations and Marketing from the University of Vermont and has studied at Parsons Paris – The New School.
