Amelia Geist

Amelia Geist is an engineer currently participating in the Engineering Development Program at Pratt & Whitney, with experience in military design engineering and materials processes. Prior to this role, Amelia contributed to research in the Structural Optimization Lab at UConn College of Engineering, served as an undergraduate teaching assistant, and completed internships at General Dynamics Electric Boat and Thermo Fisher Scientific, focusing on structural and systems engineering, respectively. Amelia holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Connecticut, attained in May 2023.
