Hermitt Vega

Hermitt Vega is a Senior Technical Fellow and Quality Discipline Chief at Pratt & Whitney, with a career spanning from December 2005 to the present. Recognized as a technical expert in key areas, Hermitt leads and resolves critical technical challenges. As a Six Sigma Master Black Belt, Hermitt focuses on value stream accountability within the supply chain, enhancing decision-making and accountability. In previous roles, including PPAP Member Focal Point and Material Review Engineer, Hermitt contributed to integrating functional teams and managing non-conformance material reviews. Prior experience includes roles as a Lean Manufacturing Engineer at Jonal Laboratories and a Process Engineer at Abbott. Hermitt's educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Puerto Rico-Mayaguez and multiple advanced degrees, including an MBA from the University of Hartford and a Master of Engineering in Quality Control from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
