Kristin Kopp-Vaughan

Kristin Kopp-Vaughan is a System Engineer at Pratt & Whitney since January 2012, bringing a strong background in mechanical engineering. Kristin served as a Research Assistant in the Optical Diagnostics Laboratory at the University of Connecticut from September 2006 to March 2023 while pursuing a PhD in Mechanical Engineering, which is expected to be defended in December 2011. Kristin has also worked as a Teaching Fellow at the University of Connecticut, creating a curriculum for undergraduate students, and conducted undergraduate research at Central Connecticut State University, focusing on quinoxaline bonding and crystallography. Additionally, Kristin was a Student Researcher at Cornell University, involved in a parametric study for the International Linear Collider project. Kristin holds a B.S. in Physics from Central Connecticut State University.
