Matias Piana

Matias Piana is a seasoned aerospace engineering professional currently serving as the Senior Manager of Structural Engineering at Pratt & Whitney since October 2023. Prior to this role, Matias held the position of Lead Structures Engineer and Structures Engineer at Northrop Grumman from July 2015 to October 2023. Matias began a career in aerospace engineering as an Aerospace Engineer at the Federal Aviation Administration in the summer of 2014. Matias holds a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Southern California, obtained in 2018, and a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona, completed in 2015. Matias also holds an Associate of Arts in Mathematics from College of Marin, earned in 2012.
