EVP at Praxair

Eduardo Menezes is currently the EVP at Praxair. Prior to this, they were the Managing Director, Regional ITD/LAC - Divisional Core at FedEx from March 2018 to March 2021. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing the level 1 and level 2 Command Center support, the clearance, retail, and transportation management systems in Latin America, and the TNT integrated legacy systems in Chile and Argentina. Eduardo also maintained a budget of $4M.

Under their leadership, the IT Command Center for Latin America was successfully launched, implementing incident management and reporting, a consumer resolution process, a trending analysis of concerns, and a 24/7 staff - enhancing the customer experience and satisfaction. Eduardo also launched an innovative home-grown clearance solution in alignment with the best market practices and FedEx architecture for the main markets in Latin America, Europe, and the Middle East - resulting in earning the Hall of Fame FedEx IT for the “Shipment of Interest” in 2020.

In addition, they developed a transportation management solution in Mexico to implement process improvements and quality vendor management by using the Oracle Transportation Management suite. This led to a reduction in operational costs by $100K. Eduardo also led the integration and transformation of the IT teams acquired from the TNT acquisition for Brazil, Chile, and Argentina by defining the staffing roles, operational processes, and management systems - ensuring a seamless transition.
