Ravichandar N

Ravichandar N has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Ravichandar began their career at Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited as an Accountant in 1984. Ravichandar then moved on to Karnataka Horologicals Private Limited, where they served as a Company Secretary and Manager Finance from 1985 to 1994. Ravichandar then worked at SR Batliboi&Co. (Ernst & Young) as a Manager from 1994 to 1995. Following that, they held the position of Head of Finance and Administration at La Mystique Apparel Pvt.ltd. for a brief period in 1995. Afterward, they joined Asea Brown Boveri Limited as a Manager of Central Finance & Taxation from 1996 to 2000, where they advised on tax matters and structuring transactions. Ravichandar then joined Praxair India Pvt. Ltd. in 2000 as an Associate Vice President and Head of Treasury & Taxation. Ravichandar was responsible for tax assessments, tax planning, cash management, and funding. From 2010 to 2019, they continued with Praxair India Pvt. Ltd. as an Associate Vice President, expanding their role to include Treasury, Taxation, Secretarial, and Insurance responsibilities. Most recently, Ravichandar has started working as a Chartered Accountant and Freelance Consultant in 2022.

Ravichandar N completed their Bachelor's Degree in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics from APS College between 1976 and 1979. Prior to that, they pursued their Pre University studies in Physics, Chemistry, Maths, and Biology at National College, Jayanagar, Bangalore from 1974 to 1976. Their high school education was at St.Joseph's High School, Mysore Road, Bangalore between 1971 and 1974.
