Kirian Sarai Alfaro has a range of experience in quality assurance and software development roles. Kirian Sarai currently works at Praxent as a Quality Assurance Engineer since March 2021. Prior to that, they worked at TELUS International from July 2017 to March 2021, where they served as a QA Team Leader and was responsible for test planning, execution, defect reporting, and use of agile methodologies. Before that, they worked at Rulesware from July 2015 to July 2017 as a Junior System Architect, specializing in PEGA-PRPC technologies and implementing BPM for financial services and healthcare companies. Additionally, they had brief stints at Telefonica Moviles El Salvador/Atento and Avianca/OE System, where they held roles as an Analyst HDIT and Technician Developer/Integration/Solution Integrator Technician, respectively.
Kirian Sarai Alfaro completed their education from 2004 to 2005 at Centro Escolar Católico "Alberto Masferrer", where they obtained their Bachiller General degree. Kirian Sarai then attended Universidad Centroamericana 'José Simeón Cañas' from 2006 to 2015, where they earned their Lic. en Ciencias de la Computacion degree. In terms of certifications, Kirian obtained the certification of Certified System Architect (CSA) 72V1 from Pegasystems in January 2017. Kirian Sarai also became a Certified SAFe® 4 Practitioner from Scaled Agile, Inc. in December 2018. Additionally, Kirian obtained the certification of QA Global Summit 22.2 from Geekle.us in October 2022, and they became a Certified Scrum Master from Scrum Alliance in April 2023.
