Lisa Drummond Asa

Lisa Drummond, ASA has a diverse work experience in the fields of data science, operations research, actuarial analysis, and healthcare. Lisa began their career as an Actuarial Executive Development Program Intern at Cigna in 2010. Lisa then joined Gen Re as an Actuarial Trainee in 2012, where they gained valuable experience in actuarial analysis. In 2014, Lisa joined MITRE as a Senior Operations Research Analyst, where they led the statistical development of methodologies and conducted analysis for various projects, including the Improper Payment measurement methodology for Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services ACA Marketplaces and initiatives to reduce veteran homelessness. In 2016, they transitioned to Praxis Engineering as a Data Scientist, where they are currently working.

Lisa Drummond, ASA pursued their education in a chronological manner. Lisa completed their Bachelor's Degree in Applied Mathematics at Lehigh University from 2007 to 2011. Subsequently, they attended Lehigh University again from 2011 to 2012, acquiring a Master of Science (MS) degree in Statistics. Additionally, Lisa obtained the certification of Associate of the Society of Actuaries from the Society of Actuaries in January 2022.
