Heather Shen

Heather Shen is the co-founder and Chief Product Officer of Praxis Labs. Praxis Labs is a company that is dedicated to making society more equitable by advancing workplace inclusion and belonging. Heather has worked in a variety of positions that have all led up to their current role at Praxis Labs.

Heather started their career as an electrical engineer at Microsoft, working on the HoloLens team. Heather then left Microsoft to join NASA as a Crew Systems and Aviation Operations specialist. After their time at NASA, Heather decided to pursue a career in consulting and joined Bain & Company as an Associate Consultant. It was during their time at Bain that Heather realized their true passion was in product management and design.

Heather then left Bain to pursue their MBA at Stanford University. During their time at Stanford, Heather was a Graduate Teaching Assistant and also worked on various startup projects. It was through their work on startups that Heather met their future business partner, Alex Mittal. Together, they founded Praxis Labs in 2018.

Praxis Labs is a company that is making society more equitable by advancing workplace inclusion and belonging. The company offers a variety of services, including training programs, research, and consulting services. Heather’s experience as an electrical engineer, consultant, and teacher have all helped their to be successful in their role as co-founder and Chief Product Officer at Praxis Labs.

Heather Shen has a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science from Stanford University in Electrical Engineering.
