Namita Sawant is a consultant specializing in energy modeling at Prayas, Pune, since October 2022. Previously, Namita served as a senior research scholar at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, from 2017 to June 2022, and as a research consultant on the Project on Climate Resilient Agriculture for the Government of Maharashtra from January 2020 to July 2021, focusing on energy and water consumption frameworks in agriculture.
