Konstantinos Saitas - Zarkias

Konstantinos Saitas - Zarkias has four years of work experience in the field of Machine Learning. Konstantinos began their career in 2017 as a Research Assistant at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH), where they developed Deep Reinforcement Learning methods for Financial Analysis & Trading and published a conference paper and article. In 2020, they joined RISE Research Institutes of Sweden as a Research (M.Sc Thesis) and investigated Meta-Learning methods using Reinforcement Learning. Konstantinos published a white paper pre-print on PyTorch meta-learning framework. In 2021, they began work as a Machine Learning Engineer at PELTARION and currently holds the same position at Preamble, which they joined in 2022.

Konstantinos Saitas - Zarkias obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH) between 2013 and 2018. Konstantinos then pursued a Master's degree in Machine Learning from KTH Royal Institute of Technology between 2018 and 2020. In November 2020, they also obtained the AWS Fundamentals: Going Cloud-Native certification from Coursera.
