Kevin Hughes

Kevin Hughes has over two decades of experience in finance and budget management, currently serving as the Budget and Reports Director at Preble Street since July 2019, where responsibilities include leading budgeting for a $24 million nonprofit organization and managing accounting and payroll staff. Previously, Kevin worked as a Finance Manager at Promise Early Education Center, developing a $4.6 million annual budget; as a Finance Project Manager at WEX, overseeing strategic implementations; as a Senior Business Analyst at Citi, focusing on financial planning; and as a Financial Consultant for S&H Greenpoints, creating a strategic plan for a startup. Early in the career, Kevin held the role of Finance Director at Wachovia Bank NA, where the development of annual budgets for a significant call center rollout took place. Kevin holds an MBA in Financial Planning and Services from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and a B.B.A. in Accounting from Millersville University of Pennsylvania.
