As a UX Researcher, you will build the company's UX research practice from scratch, defining methods and tools for user research on data products. You'll help educate the company on the value of user-centered design, conduct user research, and collaborate with various teams to ensure user insights guide data product development and validate design decisions. Moreover, you will be responsible for making research more accessible across the organization. 

You may work remotely or in a hybrid capacity from our Cavatina Hall location.

  • Establish the UX research foundation by identifying research guidelines and best practices
  • Help build a company culture that prioritizes user needs throughout the product development process
  • Conduct user research using various qualitative and quantitative methods, including interviews, surveys, persona development, usability testing, and analyzing data to understand user needs and pain points related to data interaction. 
  • Work closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to ensure user insights are translated into actionable recommendations for product development.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in a related field
  • Must have a portfolio of work representing research that influenced insights or experiences
  • Experience with Maze, Heap, Logrocket or similar research tools 
  • Comfortable presenting recommendations to colleagues and stakeholders in English (CEFR level C2 required)

Preferred requirements:

  • Familiarity with Design Thinking practices
  • Curious and passionate about innovation and implementing the latest UX research methods
  • Able to take direction and adapt to changing priorities
  • Highly collaborative, flexible, and communicative
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Self-motivated
  • Experience researching and recruiting specific data user groups (e.g., analysts, business users, data scientists).
