Arpan Mukherjee

Arpan Mukherjee is an experienced professional in the biopharmaceutical industry, currently serving as Associate Director of Gene Delivery at Precision BioSciences, Inc. since August 2019. In this role, Arpan leads a team focused on mRNA/LNP and AAV process development, emphasizing process analytics and technology transfer. Prior to this position, Arpan held the role of Senior Technology Project Manager at NIIMBL, overseeing diverse projects in gene therapy and biologics manufacturing, with a total project budget of $11 million. Earlier experience includes work as a Development Scientist at Alexion Pharmaceuticals, a Graduate Research Assistant at North Carolina State University, and a Research Intern at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology. Arpan earned a PhD in Chemical Engineering from North Carolina State University and a B.Tech. in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.
