Jeffrey Sunman

Jeffrey Sunman is an accomplished professional in the field of intellectual property with extensive experience spanning over a decade. Currently serving as Vice President of Intellectual Property at Precision BioSciences, Inc. since July 2015, Jeffrey has held various positions within the company, including Senior Director and Director of Intellectual Property. Prior to this, Jeffrey worked as a Patent Agent at Alston & Bird LLP, focusing on biotechnology, chemical, and pharmaceutical patents, and collaborated with notable pharmaceutical companies and academic institutions. Jeffrey's earlier career includes a postdoctoral fellowship at the National Institutes of Health, where research on cancer cell motility garnered the NIH Fellows Award for Research Excellence in 2009. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Mercer University and a B.S. in Biology from Stetson University.
