Beata Ros-Sobczak has a diverse work experience in the fields of data science, analytics, statistics, and medical research. Beata started their career at VU medisch centrum as a Research Intern, where they developed methodology to reconstruct the order of genetic aberrations in DNA regions during cancer progression. Beata then worked as a researcher at HTA Consulting, Krakow, where they developed and tested models for comparing different medical technologies. Beata then pursued a Ph.D. in statistics at VU University Amsterdam, focusing on stochastic modeling and statistical analysis of brain network dynamics. After completing their Ph.D., they joined Accenture as an Analytics Analyst, where they worked on data analytics projects. Beata'smost recent position is as a Data Scientist at PrecisionLife, an AI-enabled drug discovery and precision medicine company. In this role, Beata contributes to the development of their precisionlife® MARKERS platform, which generates disease insights and identifies biomarkers for disease risk, progression, and therapy response in complex diseases.

Beata Ros-Sobczak completed their Master's degree in Mathematics from VU University Amsterdam in the period of 2009 to 2010. Prior to that, they also obtained a Master's degree in Mathematics from the University of Warsaw spanning from 2005 to 2010.

In addition to their educational qualifications, Beata has obtained several certifications to enhance their skills. Beata earned a SAS Certified Base Programmer for SAS 9 certification from SAS in September 2015. On top of that, they completed various online courses including Practical Machine Learning, Moralities of Everyday Life, The Data Scientist's Toolbox, Social Network Analysis, and Introduction to Data Science from Coursera between June 2013 and February 2015.
