Ryan Newbury

Ryan Newbury is a skilled individual who has experience in various roles within the medical and scientific field. Currently working as an Associate Scientist III at PrecisionMed, Ryan is involved in improving workflows through Python scripting, isolating leukopaks, developing SOPs, and assisting in creating a GMP environment. With a background as a Laboratory Manager, Ryan also helps develop new products, isolates PBMCs, runs flow cytometry, and processes samples. As a Research Assistant, Ryan manages a large spinal fluid biobank, processes samples, organizes storage, and fulfills custom collection orders. Ryan previously worked as a Medical Scribe at Bon Air Internal Medicine, where they assisted the doctor in recording patient information and streamlined appointment processes. Ryan is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Data Science at UC San Diego, following a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry.
