Ivana Stankov

Ivana Stankov is a Senior Research Fellow at SAHMRI and a Research Fellow at the University of South Australia, both positions held since March 2023. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior Research Scientist at Drexel University Dornsife School of Public Health and a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Urban Health Collaborative, Drexel University. Ivana's academic journey includes a PhD in Social Epidemiology from the University of South Australia, where a Bachelor's degree in Applied Science (Physiotherapy with Honours) was also obtained. Additionally, Ivana's educational background includes studies at the Santa Fe Institute in Complex Systems and at the University of Adelaide in Science. Early career roles involved research assistance and evaluations in various organizations, alongside practical experience as a Physiotherapist at Calvary Wakefield Hospital.
