Vivek Pinto

Vivek Pinto currently serves as the Director of Medical Affairs at Precision Neuroscience, a position held since May 2025. Prior to this role, Vivek had a distinguished career at the FDA, where from September 2012 to June 2025, Vivek held several key positions, including Director of the Division of Neuromodulation and Physical Medicine Devices, where Vivek established a new division and implemented management strategies to enhance resource sharing and review consistency. Additionally, Vivek held the role of Chief of the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Devices Branch, overseeing medical scientific reviewers to safeguard public health. Earlier experience includes serving as a Lead Reviewer, evaluating various medical device applications for safety and effectiveness. Vivek's foundational experience in biomechanics and ergonomics was developed at NYU Hospital for Joint Diseases as a Biomechanic & Ergonomic Researcher and as a Co-op Mechanical Engineer at MSA - The Safety Company. Vivek earned an Executive MBA from NYU Stern School of Business in 2024 and a PhD in Ergonomics and Biomechanics from New York University in 2011.
