Orlando Hoilett is the Lead Hardware Engineer at Predictive Wear. Orlando has also worked as a Teaching Assistant at Vanderbilt University, a Research Fellow at Systems Biology and Bioengineering Undergraduate Research Experience (SyBBURE), and an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Vanderbilt Institute for Integrative Biosystems Research and Education (VIIBRE).
Orlando Hoilett received their undergraduate degree in biomedical engineering from Vanderbilt University. Orlando has TA'd for an intro to engineering course for first-year biomedical engineers and is currently TA-ing for a junior level biomedical instrumentation course. Orlando's duties have included designing laboratory activities, circuit building for demonstrations and labs, teaching lessons - specifically on the utility of microcontrollers for developing medical devices, and grading.
As a Research Fellow at SyBBURE, Orlando Hoilett's duties included working on a research project focused on developing a mathematical model of the cell cycle. Orlando also worked on a project that used microfluidics to study cancer metastasis.
At VIIBRE, Orlando Hoilett worked on a project that used microfluidics to study cancer metastasis. Orlando also worked on a project focused on developing a mathematical model of the cell cycle.
Orlando Hoilett has a Bachelor of Engineering in Biomedical Engineering from Vanderbilt University and is certified as a National Instruments Certified LabVIEW Associate Developer (CLAD).
