Colin Hampden-White

Colin Hampden-White has extensive experience in the fields of media, photography, and the whisky industry. Currently serving as a Television Presenter for The Three Drinkers since January 2018, Colin also holds the position of Chair of the Advisory Board at the Cask Whisky Association as of September 2023 and functions as a Non Executive Director at Cask Trade Ltd. Additionally, Colin contributes to Preferabli in a curation role, focusing on AI-driven discovery and recommendation of sensory consumer products. As a freelance photographer and journalist since July 2001, Colin’s work has been featured in prestigious outlets like Condé Nast and The Times, specializing in the genres of fine wine and whisky. Previous roles include Editor for Whisky Quarterly and Director at Stilnovisti Investments S.A., where Colin was involved in procuring quality Scotch whisky casks. Colin’s academic background includes a BS in Quantity Surveying from The University of Edinburgh.
