Anna Gakou

Anna Gakou currently serves as a Sustainable Travel Programme Coordinator at Preferred by Nature since June 2023, following a role as an intern in the same program. Prior experience includes working as an Assistant Manager at Biogest, where organisational skills were developed and multilingual document translation was provided from November 2019 to April 2020. Additionally, Anna held the position of Sales and Production Associate at El Greko from January 2018 to September 2019, engaging with clients to fulfill diverse requests and gaining expertise in editing tools like Corel. Anna holds a Master of Science in Tourism, Society and Environment from Wageningen University & Research, where studies were completed from September 2021 to August 2023, and also completed an Erasmus Thesis Research Scholarship at the same institution. Earlier educational accomplishments include a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and European Studies from West University of Timisoara, awarded from September 2018 to July 2021.
