Kirstin Skyrm

Kirstin Skyrm is a Sustainability Specialist at Preferred by Nature since December 2023, with a strong background in sustainable agriculture and nutrition. Previous roles include Permaculture Apprentice at Hundred Fruit Farm, where responsibilities encompassed permaculture practices and farm management, and Urban Agriculture Planning Fellow for the New Entry Sustainable Farming Project, contributing to the North Shore Urban Agriculture Plan. Kirstin also served as a Financial Strategy Consultant at Russell Ventures Group, was the Sustainable Nutrition Working Group Lead at the Food & Nutrition Innovation Institute, and worked as a Research Assistant focused on sustainable food systems. Additional experience includes roles as a Garden Educator at CitySprouts and a Team Member at Greensgrow, alongside a financial career at JPMorgan Chase & Co. and 44 Business Capital. Educational qualifications feature a Master's degree in Agriculture, Food, and Environment from Tufts University and a Bachelor's degree in Finance from George Mason University.
