Alexander Stromberg

Alex Stromberg is a Managing Director and Head of the US Loan Trading desk at Barclays, based in New York. In addition to his risk management responsibilities, Mr. Stromberg is responsible for trading cash loans across multiple industries including Consumer, Energy, Industrials, and Retail.

Mr. Stromberg joined Barclays from Lehman Brothers in September 2008, where he was the senior cash loan trader on the high yield loan and derivative desk. He joined Lehman Brothers in 2001 in the investment banking division and spent time in mergers and acquisitions and capital markets/syndicates before joining the trading desk in 2005.

Mr. Stromberg graduated from Emory University with a BBA in Finance and Accounting.
