Saurabh Rai

Saurabh Rai has a strong background in the travel and hospitality industry, with extensive experience in executive roles. From 2016 to present, they have worked at Preferred Travel Group, first as the Executive Vice President for South and South East Asia, Middle East, Africa, and Australasia, and currently as the Executive Vice President and Global Head of Innovation. In these positions, they oversee the company's business in various regions and has direct responsibility for profit and loss.

In 2020, Saurabh also took on the role of Global Brand Operations and Business Development at Beyond Green, a company focused on sustainable tourism and making a positive impact through travel.

Alongside their corporate roles, Saurabh works in a personal capacity as a private investor and entrepreneurship mentor, supporting disruptive tech-led ventures across various industries.

Prior to their current positions, Saurabh held several management roles at Preferred Hotels & Resorts, including Area Managing Director for South Asia, Middle East, and Africa. Saurabh also had a significant tenure at The Imperial hotel in New Delhi, where they served as the Director of Sales and Associate Director of Sales. Saurabh'searly career included a role as a Sales Manager at Oberoi Hotels & Resorts.

Saurabh Rai completed an Advanced Management Program in Business & Leadership at Harvard Business School in 2018. In 2007, they also completed an Accelerated Management Program in Business Administration and Management at the Indian School of Business. Saurabh holds a Post Graduation degree in Hospitality Management from The Oberoi Centre of Learning & Development, New Delhi, India, which they obtained between 2001 and 2003. Saurabh Rai's education also includes a Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management from the Indian Institute of Hotel Management (IIHM), completed between 1998 and 2001. Additionally, they obtained a certification in "Fintech Revolution - Transformative Financial Services and Strategies" from The Wharton School in 2021.
