Maryam (Inam) Ridha is a biomedical engineer and scientist currently employed at Prellis Biologics, focusing on antibody discovery and engineering, cell sorting and sequencing, and bioinformatics analysis. Previously, Maryam held the position of Graduate Research Associate at Arizona State University, leading research that identified key epigenetic biomarkers for HIV-1 and SARS-CoV-2, which resulted in a patent and numerous publications. Maryam optimized high-throughput DNA methylation profiling, achieving significant improvements in speed and cost-efficiency for point-of-care applications. Earlier experiences include serving as a Quality Control Specialist at Smith & Nephew in Tehran and working as a Research Assistant at the Pasteur Institute of Iran. Educational credentials include a PhD in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from Arizona State University, a Master’s in Biomedical Engineering-Biomaterials, and dual Bachelor’s degrees in Biomedical/Medical Engineering and Polymer Engineering from Amirkabir University of Technology – Tehran Polytechnic.
