Maureen Chiquet

Maureen Chiquet is a business advisor and the former global CEO of CHANEL. Maureen has also served as president of Banana Republic, EVP Merchandising, Production, and Planning at Old Navy, and as a merchandiser at Gap Inc. earlier in their career. Chiquet began their professional life at L'Oréal as a product manager before moving to Gap Inc. in 1989. Maureen spent the next 14 years at Gap Inc., eventually becoming president of Banana Republic in 2002. In 2003, Chiquet left Gap Inc. to become the global CEO of CHANEL, a position they held for 13 years before leaving in 2016 to start their own business advisory firm.

Maureen Chiquet studied literature at Yale University and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree.
