James Ofeldt is a Research Associate at Prelude Therapeutics since March 2022, specializing in early ADME Biochemical screening assays and the development of sensitive LC-MS/MS methods for small molecule candidates. With experience in various molecular, biochemical, and cellular assays, James independently develops and troubleshoots LC-MS methods for pharmacokinetic studies. Previously, James held roles as an Associate Research Scientist at Syneos Health Clinical Solutions, where bioanalytical methods were developed and optimized, and as a Research Assistant at Richard Stockton Coastal Research Center. Additionally, James serves as an Adjunct Professor and Instructional Assistant at Brookdale Community College. James holds a Master’s degree in Biology from Clemson University and a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science from Stockton University.
