Vice President Ehs, Lab Operations, & Facilities at Prelude Therapeutics

Tim Mueller has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Tim is currently serving as the Vice President of EHS, Lab Operations, and Facilities at Prelude Therapeutics since March 2023. Prior to this, they held the position of Executive Director of Facilities and Laboratory Operations at Prelude Therapeutics from June 2021 to March 2023.

Before joining Prelude Therapeutics, Tim Mueller worked at Delaware Innovation Space from July 2017 to June 2021, where they held the role of Vice President of Science and Technology and Director of the Research Institute. Tim provided guidance and mentoring services across materials, chemical, and biotechnology domains, and played a key role in developing strategic direction and support for novel research and scale-up activities.

From January 2016 to June 2021, Tim Mueller worked at DuPont, where they served as the Global Research Productivity and North American Research Leader. Tim also held various other positions at DuPont, including Manager of Inorganic Chemistry and NanoMaterials from January 2014 to December 2015, CIO & Director of Information & Computing Technologies in the Central Research & Development department from January 2010 to December 2013, and Technology Manager from January 2007 to December 2009.

Tim Mueller began their career at Saint Joseph's University, where they served as a Professor of Chemistry from January 1991 to May 1997.

Tim Mueller has a Ph.D. in Physical-Inorganic Chemistry, which they obtained from Texas A&M University during the period from 1988 to 1990. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Chemistry from Loyola University Maryland, completing their studies from 1981 to 1984. In addition to their formal education, Tim Mueller also obtained a certification in "Humble Leadership: The Power of Relationships, Openness, and Trust (getAbstract Summary)" from LinkedIn in July 2021.
